Quantity Surveyor. : Preston : Salary Offered is £29k.p.a.( Negotiable )
The ideal candidate will have had Piling & GI Experience. And provide a timely, comprehensive service to the operational disciplines to ensure that work is secured and executed on the best commercial terms and that all paperwork is completed to enable prompt payments to be made. If required assess contractual implications of tenders to be submitted. And respond to letters of intent / sub contract orders / credit check clients as required. Vet all proposed forms of contract / sub contract. Monitor the timely submission and payment of valuations. Negotiation of F / A settlements. Attend pre contract and mid : bid meetings. Chase and dispatch site records as required. Agreement with clients of final accounts for works executed and the evaluation of variations for additional or abortive works. Ensure maximum payment is achieved for work done. Produce documentation for submission to clients to support applications for payment. Prepare weekly CVR for approval by discipline Managers. With accounts dept prepare monthly accounts for approval by discipline managers.
