Bid Manager : UK wide options : Open to negotiation

Our client, a leading UK listed software and services company operating in the PS, has developed a major business proposition for Education & Skills. Educational enrichment, learning services, library management and a broad portfolio of skills has produced a functionally rich and compelling offering, resulting in our client?s status as prime bidder and leading bidder on a number of BSF Programmes. Owing to this dynamic growth our client seeks a Senior Bid Manager, preferably with BSF, or possibly PFI, PPP experience. You will work closely with clients, defining requirements and be responsible for identifying and understanding client?s needs, and manage various stakeholder expectations throughout a systematic and lengthy bid processes.
You must be very comfortable in the client environment, and be able to demonstrate a willingness and desire to build relationships and address issues effectively without confrontation. Supported by a team, you will be personally responsible for bid production, and convey their intuitive understanding of the client through meetings and presentation. You must be able to convey ideas at all levels, be IT literate and engage customers with their vision for learning enrichment and the potential for regeneration of communities. You should be a team player and be able to develop strong cohesive relationships across a strong BSF team.
