A leading international supplier of gas analysis technology is seeking a sales person to cover the lucrative Northern territory. This company has been established for over 50 years and become well known in various sectors for developing a good technical understanding of customer?s needs.
Your objective as an Area Sales Manager will be to exceed revenue targets for your region. You will be covering the Northern territory which already has an established customer base as well as many other potential customers to target. Your customer base will include oil refineries, power stations, chemical manufacturers etc. You will work closely with engineers and purchasing managers in these companies to develop a thorough understanding of their needs and offer a suitable product.
Suitable candidates for this position should have a degree in an engineering discipline. You should also have experience of selling high value equipment into a similar customer base. Experience in selling a similar product range would be a distinct advantage but not essential as the company will offer product training.
