Science Sales : Sales Representative : Analytical Instrumentation : South UK

A rapidly expanding supplier of analytical instrumentation is currently seeking a sales person to sell their new innovative range of microwave synthesis products. This company is building a strong reputation in the market place and work as an exclusive UK distributor with various specialist laboratory instrument manufacturers.

This role will involve building a new market place for their insightful product range. You will be covering the South of the UK and sell to organic chemists who will most commonly use this type of instrumentation for sample preparation. To develop this new market you will need to identify your potential customers and arrange meetings to demonstrate the benefits of these instruments. This will be a target driven role so your success will depend on your ability to source new customers and close sales.

Suitable candidates for this position will have some experience of selling scientific products into laboratories and ideally have an academic background in chemistry. Candidates who have experience in selling laboratory consumables would be considered for this position and this would be an ideal opportunity for them to move into a more technical product sales role.
