Principal scientist in drug discovery/ADME, Cheshire

Work for an ever-growing and successful business in the North West of the UK. This unique and energetic company is looking for a development scientist to lead, plan and design new ADME/DMPK pharmacokinetic drug discovery studies.

This role will give you the chance to get involved and excel in both technical and leadership activities, whilst using your own skill and imagination:
? Plan and design new studies and laboratory processes to client requirement.
? Support and liaise with the business development team providing essential scientific advice.
? Analyse and report results to both clients, team members and laboratory supervisors.
? Train and develop laboratory staff.
? Contribute in quality control activities.
Education and experience
? Ideally have a PhD or equivalent in bioscience discipline
? 3 or more years experience (client will be flexible on experience)in pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry encompassing strong knowledge of in vivo pharmacokinetics and in vitro ADMET.

We are looking for motivated, personable, hard working ADMET scientists with good attention to detail and who can communicate effectively within a strong team environment. Good laboratory practice combined with good understanding of LC-MS or similar is desirable. Previous experience of working in commercial environment, preferably for a contract research organisation, would be an advantage.
