Global Market Segment Manager : Biochemical Production Services : UK

A global leader in the life science sector is currently seeking a Market Segment Manager to work in their specialist custom manufacturing division. This company is known throughout the scientific sector for serving their customers with a wide range of products and services which accelerate research in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device organisations. This division of the company produce custom reagents and cell culture products to their customer?s specifications.

This position will require you to work independently from home and extensive world wide travel. As the Market Segment manager you will manage the global marketing requirements of the company?s services. You will develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales and develop an understanding of market segment trends and changes. You will also interact with customers at trade shows and customer visits in order to develop an in-depth understanding of their requirements.

Suitable candidates for this position should have proven experience in marketing management or product management in the scientific sector. You will also need to be able to show a good understanding of industrial DSP in biological manufacturing. You should be an excellent communicator and confident in presenting at a senior level.
