Senior New Business Development & Project Delivery Specialist (FASTER PAYMENTS) - London. Permanent

To £70,000 Base + benefits + commission

Our client, a leading organisation in the Banking & Financial space, is currently looking for a Business Development & Project Delivery specialist within the ?FASTER PAYMENTS? arena.

This is a key role within the Faster Payments Service Line team, with responsibility to create new business opportunities through leading discrete work streams related to Faster Payments in pursuit of the company?s ambitious growth objectives.

This role is for someone who is an expert in payments / Payment Processing and has either a retail or corporate banking background or has specific knowledge and experience in the mobile, contactless card, or internet payments area. Operating as a commercial advocate for new business opportunities, this is a creative and intellectually stimulating role which requires business planning, NPD, excellent interpersonal skills, commercial acumen, an understanding of the markets and relevant high level contacts within the industry. Responsibilities will include conducting market research through meeting key players in the market, developing new propositions, creating business cases, delivering new products, establishing financial models, and supporting products.

This is the fastest growing area of our clients business and will only continue to grow. This position offers considerable exposure to senior internal and external stakeholders, and tangible responsibility for delivering their vision of the company and the service line to the market. This role also requires an individual with proven capability in defining and delivering new products or businesses within a blue-chip corporate or consulting environment : ideally within the financial services and payments sectors.
