Sales Support Engineer - Surrey

up to 35K basic + Bonus up to £10K p.a. and car allowance plus benefits.

A globally renowned provider of the best-of-breed multi-platform system management software tools is expanding due to customer demands and is looking for a Sales Support Engineer to assist the Senior Sales Executives to develop and grow new accounts with the objective of securing sales of an application and network monitoring solution.

Qualifications:
MCSE, CCEA, Redhat, Cisco or CCIE certifications

Skills:
? At least 5 years experience in a Software Vendor, Professional Services, IT consulting or Systems Integration environment with an analytical approach to problem solving.

? Hands on experience with multiple platforms: Linux, Solaris, UNIX Windows 2000/2003 and Cisco

? Understanding of high availability solutions (clustering, storage area networks, network attached storage etc.)

? Scripting skills (e.g. VBScript, ADSI, WMI, Perl, shell, html and java)

? A self starter who manages time and activities with little day-to-day guidance or interaction from management.

? Excellent organisational, customer service, communications and professional presentation skills. Ability to write detailed emails, responding to vendors and preparing case studies. Prepared to be flexible and take on a variety of tasks and be a good team-player.

Responsibilities:
Maximising team effectiveness to meet revenues and goal oriented targets.
