Sales Executive : Managed Services/Hosting/IT Services : North East with Travel

Package: £30-40k Basic, Car, Commission, Pension, healthcare, (£60-80k ote)

My client, a leading supplier of IT Solutions and services within numerous vertical markets require a new Business Sales Executive to be responsible for developing the sales pipeline and providing solutions to a variety of vertical markets and industry sectors. As a client facing sales executive you will deliver infrastructure solutions, services and solutions to prospects and must have the ability to relate these solutions appropriately to varying businesses.

You will have a track record selling managed services and hosting solutions and should have a good level of technical knowledge and understanding of Microsoft solutions and some or all of the following: Windows Server, Exchange, Office, SharePoint, Virtualisation, VoIP and communication solutions.

You will be responsible for developing new business for managed services, unified messaging and infrastructure solutions services. You should have a solid, proven track record selling technical solutions and have the ability to understand the business drivers for and benefits of such solutions. You must also be able to effectively communicate the advantages of technical solutions to prospects to both IT Manager and FD level. You will be a skilled door opener with a hunger for success and be comfortable selling at senior/technical levels with the ability to identify buying signals and specific influencing factors.

In addition to being a self starter and developing relationships with prospects you will also need to be a good team player as you will be require to work closely with a range of people from across the business. You will liaise with technical specialists who will provide technical support and specialist input into appropriate solutions for your prospect and client base. While you will receive the relevant support needed from our technologists to define an effective solution for the client, you should be comfortable in the first instance discussing the high level benefits of potential technical solutions directly with the client.

You will be expected to create, qualify, present and negotiate projects up to director level and have the presence and professionalism to impress at this level. You will be confident and creative and willing to use your initiative. As a Sales Professional you will be responsible for creating and delivering a successful sales strategy that will meet both revenue and margin targets. You will also posses highly developed social skills with the ability to network, be approachable, presentable and professional with high energy levels and the initiative to drive the business forward.

Essential experience and knowledge:

? 3-4 year successful track record of selling managed services, hosting, technologies or solutions to business
? Broad technical understanding of IT solutions
? Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
? High energy and networking skills
? Outstanding relationship building
? Ability to close deals
? Self starter
? Good presentation and IT skills
? Negotiation and closing skills

You will have experience of working in a similar sales capacity and be able to show experience in working the full sales process. You can expect the sales process to be fast paced and targets will be staggered to enable you to start earning commission immediately.
