Sales Account Manager - 2D / 3D CAD Software - Newbury, Berkshire

This is a very exciting opportunity for a Sales Account Manager with our client, a specialist provider of 2D / 3D Mechanical CAD software and solutions, looking after and developing the UK customer base. Our client is a small UK company based in Newbury, Berkshire. They have an excellent and friendly team of individuals who work well together. The company has been operating in the CAD / PDM market for 20 years and has established an excellent installed base of customers that they have been working with for many years. Their mission is to provide the best Engineering Design & Product Data Management solutions for people who appreciate creative solutions, direct responses, and a philosophy of business that puts people first.

The Candidate

We are looking for a self motivated individual who wants to succeed in a client facing role within sales. Sales experience is not essential as basic sales training can be provided. This is also good opportunity for someone who is currently in an engineering design or presales role. The position covers the UK market although some overseas travel may be required from time to time. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to move into a commercial role and be financially rewarded based on their own success. A background in the CAD market is also not essential but some understanding of engineering and/or mechanics would be preferred. Training on the products will be provided. Again not essential but it would be a benefit if you where located within a 50 mile radius of Newbury.

The Role

You will be responsible for product sales including services covering consulting, training and support. Although the role is predominantly account management based, you will be involved in some new business development. This is your chance to take control of your career and move into a new exciting industry. There is an excellent remuneration package that includes a base salary of £25,000 - £40,000 depending on experience, with an uncapped OTE of circa £50,000 and a car allowance. You will also be provided with a phone, laptop and an expense account.
