Our client is seeking a key Client Account Manager to be a vital component in the continuing success of their company. Reporting directly to the technical and business development directors, the role will involve maintaining existing business as well as generating new accounts.
This varied role includes:
Managing the running and development of key accounts including leading blue chip companies and financial institutions based worldwide
Participating in and growing business development initiatives
Maintain our existing customer base and encourage them to move forward
Cold calling to new customers
Work with the technical team to produce business proposals for potential clients as requested and identify new opportunities
Manage all costs associated with marketing/business development
Ensure that the company?s sales strategy reflects current and future needs of the business and changes in technology
Visit new and existing customers on an as required basis with or without technical personnel
Define complaint handling and escalation procedures
Ensuring client satisfaction
Maintaining internal processes via non sales related activities
Key Skills:
A proven track record in New Business development, essentially in the technology industry
An understanding of the core market to achieve new business
Exceptional sales and communications skills
Tenacity to work within longer sales cycles
Service Obsessed
Must have a ?Can do, Hands on? approach
Must be a team Player
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years experience managing clients, selling technology systems or be an individual capable of selling high value solutions with a consultative approach.
The candidate must demonstrate an ability to articulate in a clear, concise manner; build rapport with all clients; present key selling points while focusing on client needs; listen attentively and respond effectively to concerns and negotiate competently; close sales and display exceptional follow through. They will also have huge personal drive and a sincere desire to make a difference.
