Based in Bucks & reporting to the Head of Sales, the Business Development Manager : Satellite & Wide Area Networks : Europe will be responsible for identifying, developing and closing sales opportunities for our client?s products and services across all sectors, in the telecommunications and networking markets in Northern Europe.
Our client designs, develops, installs and maintains a wide variety of enterprise network solutions such as Digital Signage and Retail Media Networks, Interactive Training and Distance Learning, Corporate Video and Audio Broadcasting, Streaming Content and IP Multicast Services, Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) and Business Continuity/Backup Services and are the European leading provider of high-speed broadband Internet access and intranet/extranet managed solutions to enterprises of any size. Its customer base spans all major market sectors, including oil and gas, retail, automotive, banking, restaurants and governments.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
? Identification and development of new prospects in Northern European region, for ?managed networking services? and ?high speed broadcast services? ? Development of multi-level contact to board/C level ? Market intelligence and identification of new opportunities ? Support Sales Team Major Bids, Tenders and Propositions
You will be articulate, confident, tenacious and successful new business development professional with a track record of supporting major bids and a thorough understanding of the managed networking services and high speed broadcast services markets & possessing the drive, determination to close sales.
Knowledge & experience of the following is required:
? Qualified to graduate level or equivalent ? Detailed knowledge of wide-area networking (IP, LAN and WAN) and/or high-speed broadband services ? Proven sales history in major corporate account sales (£0.5m+ deals), ideally within complex solution sales ? Experience in the satellite industry would be an advantage
Pay & Benefits:
? Competitive Basic Salary in excess of £50,000 p.a. ? Car Allowance to £5,000 p.a. ? Performance bonus
