Business Development Manager - Essex £35,000 - £50,000 doe

They also produce an innovative online subscription based healthcare reference tool and offer a complete portfolio of marketing services. Their services are designed to facilitate invaluable relationships with both customers and key public sector personnel

A Business Development Manager is required for their office based in Southfield Essex.

Reporting to the commercial director your role is to be the commercial face of the client in the Pharmaceutical market place. Your day-to-day purpose will be to identify, develop and close business opportunities with Pharmaceutical clients.

Main Tasks:

? Identifying, developing and closing business opportunities.
? Managing their partner network and networking effectively to make sure they are always ?on the ball?
? Account managing your allocated clients, for all of our products
? Meeting sales targets for new business
? Ensuring that the internal service and delivery functions are passionate and committed to exceeding expectations
? Ensuring your allocated clients are 100% satisfied with our service 100% of the time
? Meeting profitability targets and managing your time, expenditure and business plan
? Contributing to the product development and planning processes to meet client demand and satisfy market opportunity

To be considered for this post all applicants must have the following skills and experiences
Sales / marketing professional with front-line key account management skills
Experienced in working within a Pharma marketing, sales and/or business intelligence team, or within the agency universe
Competent in MS Office, presentation skills, project management, proposal writing and closing business
Well connected within the UK pharmaceutical industry
The holder of a clean, full driving license

The following skills and experiences would be desirable
Some experience of working with/in the NHS
Based in the south east ideally approximately one hour from our offices in Basildon, Essex
Experienced in working within a Pharma marketing, sales and/or business intelligence team, or within the agency universe : ideally BOTH SIDES
