Business Development Executive - Essex - £31,000

Our client has developed into a major force within the pharmaceutical industry, providing a wide portfolio of information centric products and services to sales, marketing, business intelligence and executive management professionals within the industry.

This role entails:
? Liaising with customers regarding account enquiries
? Supporting Business Development Managers to ensure account objectives are realised
? Liaising with the wider team to ensure customer satisfaction across the portfolio.
? Assisting in the handling of all customer enquires for both internal and external customers.
? Preparing proposals for customers within agreed office guidelines
? Compiling reports for customers (internal & external) consistent with contractual requirements

? Identifying, developing and closing business opportunities in your allocated clients

? Managing their partner network and networking effectively (both internally and externally) to make sure we?re always ?on the ball?

? Ensuring that the internal service and delivery functions are passionate and committed to exceeding expectations
? Assistance in the arrangement of customer related meetings for BDMs
? Supporting the Business Development Managers with the proposal / work management system.
? Participation in customer meetings, supporting the Business Development Managers


You will be:
? An experienced sales / marketing professional with some front-line key account management skills

? A natural sales-person who enjoys the thrill of closing a deal

? A highly organized team player able to communicate with a wide variety of people

? Experienced in working within a marketing team, sales team, business intelligence team, or within the agency universe : ideally BOTH SIDES

? Competent in MS Office, presentation skills, project management, proposal writing, multi-tasking and closing business

? Based in the south east ideally approximately 1/2 hour from Basildon, Essex.

? Some experience of working with/in the NHS and/or pharmaceutical industry/agency sector.

? The holder of a clean, full driving license
