Account Sales Manager - London - £22,000 and £24,000 with 100%OTE+ Benefits

Our highly reputable media client based in Victoria, London has a requirement for a head of department for travel.

The Role
To sell advertising space through face to face meetings with new and existing clients. You will define clients? needs and fulfil them by offering solutions to their advertising requirements. Your primary function is to gain new advertisers meetings and to service existing advertisers by building relationships with them both face to face and on the telephone to encourage continued spend. Canvass (cold call) prospective advertisers using the DIPADA sales structure to persuade them to advertise. Responsible for the production of the section in the absence of a manager, including the effective communication with the telephone sales team and other managers in the department.

Manage assigned territory effectively and efficiently by prioritising lead sources to ensure the best prospects are canvassed first, follow up calls are noted and completed when due, regular clients are serviced. Liaise with the Production Department to ensure that client requirements are adhered to and that advertisements appear as ordered by the client.

Candidate Skills
-This requires someone with excellent field-sales experience within a media environment.
-Someone with experience/contacts within the Gardening industry would be desirable but is not essential.
-Minimum of 6 months experience selling classified advertising
-Proven sales skills and consistent achievement of standards of performance.
-Valid driving license
-Personality with professionalism (?People buy people?)
-Ability to learn and work within defined parameters.

£22,000 and £24,000 with 100%OTE, pension scheme, healthcare, dental care, gym, onsite subsidised restaurant, onsite doctor, onsite physiotherapist and onsite occupational therapist.
