Warehouse Supervisor : Biggleswade, Bedfordshire. Salary £18 - 20k

Our client is a leading international book distributor, journal subscription fulfilment and circulation management specialist. They provide a bespoke range of services to over 50 international publishers covering a variety of sectors such as professional, academic, scientific, technical, medical and not-for-profit.
They require a Warehouse Supervisor to carry out the day-to-day activities associated with the provision of a multi-publisher order fulfilment operation.
Main Duties

Report directly to distribution Manager, and working closely with the stock Manager.
Supervise warehouse floor in connection with pick packing, DDA, answering queries form Customer Services etc.
To be a key holder, with responsibility of opening and closing the building.
To ensure that the warehouse environment is safe, and meets all health and safety (HSE) regulatory and legislative conditions.

Personnel Specification

Candidates for this position must have a good knowledge of WMS systems and have a keen eye for detail.
Supervisory experience would be essential and the ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to prioritise work load and good communication skills are essential.

Other Information

Hours of work 6am-2pm Monday-Friday, 8am-12pm Saturday
