The Role:

Our Client is now seeking a Project Manager to be part of the Stores Distribution Network Development Team.

The purpose of the role is to deliver major infrastructure and change management projects to our client?s stores distribution depot network. This will cover a spectrum of projects from opening new depots, through major works to the refreshing of existing operations where appropriate.

The Project Managers objectives will include:

§ To plan and deliver project to agreed timelines and budgets and in line with business case
§ Managing the various natural work teams to achieve the project deliverables (Operational development, Property, Finance, HR, Depot teams)
§ Facilitating and managing key stakeholders
§ Provide project liasion with external suppliers / stakeholders
§ Working with other project / programme managers

Knowledge and Skills:

The successful candidate is likely to be of graduate calibre with project management experience either in logistics and supply chain or possibly from the commercial property / facilities management sector.

Excellent inter-personal and communication skills coupled with influencing skills are essential as is the ability to lead and inspire teams.

You will be tenacious, getting things done by showing determination and urgency.

The salary range is likely to be in a range of £35-42k pa. The successful candidate?s starting salary will be determined by the candidate?s skill set and experience.
