Product Manager (Surface / Optics Business) Leicester. Salary to £50k

Our Client is a leading global manufacturer of electronic instruments and electromechanical devices with annualised sales of more than $1.8 billion. The Company has approximately 10,000 employees and over 60 sales and service operations in the United States and more than 30 other countries.

They require a Product Manager to be responsible for the development, direction, and marketing of their Surface Product Range on a global basis.

Education & Experience:
Previous experience in marketing and product management would be valuable, as well as experience of the optics market.
An appreciation of Metrology is desirable.
Strong analytical skills are important, as well as commerciality.

Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage sales and marketing of our Surface Products on a global basis operating in a matrix with sister companies? Regional Sales Managers
Responsible for portfolio management of the Surface Product range, understanding customer requirements and helping to direct the product development efforts
As well as being Surface Product Manager, this role will also be expected to be the Optics market expert.

Skills: A self starter with a willingness to travel is essential to this role
