RETAIL BUSINESS ANALYST is required for this IT solutions provider in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.
The Business Analyst will be responsible for designing IT solutions which are intended to support the increase of sales revenue and improve business efficiency. You will work closely with the business owners and users to examine existing business processes and agree improved processes from which an improved IT solution can be designed and will produce the top-down outline design of the new IT solution, specifying the data, files and logical operations of solution as well as the user interface required to operate the solution. Daily tasks and responsibilities will include liaising extensively with business owners and users, producing project feasibility reports, to translate business requirements into highly specified project briefs, identify options for potential solutions and assess them for both technical and business suitability, to work closely with developers and business owners/users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction, to write user guides and provide training to users of a new system.
Applicants MUST have worked within the wholesale and/or retailer supply chains and be familiar with supply chain concepts from warehousing, through to order processing.
