My client are a local housing trust who currently maintain over 500 properties within the Shrewsbury area .They currently have residents varying form the elderly to vulnerable children. Due to large scale maintainer work on there properties my client has an opportunity for a Assets manager. The ideal candidate will have:

HNC in building or equivalent construction subject or time served in a similar role.
Excellant analytical and communication skills
Knowledge of computer systems
Knowledge of asset management strategies and understanding of stock condition surveys.
Ability to manage a small team
Must undertake a CRB check due to the nature of the residents.

to be responsible for the effcient and effective managment of planned maintenance in accordance with the policies and procedures of south shropshire housing association and ensure adherence of legal requirements and best practice.
To satisfy tenants and other customers through courteous efficient work.
To maintain the associations assets
To contribute to the overall development of south Shropshire housing association s quality housing service.
