Account Director : Reading

Our client based in Reading requires an account director with substantial tech and/or B2B consultancy experience to join their team.

To be considered for this post you will possess solid account management skills founded within a PR agency environment as well as a track record of winning new accounts through creative pitches.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious senior account manager making a first move into account direction, or an established account director looking to take on more responsibilities.

This role has enormous scope, providing the opportunity for the successful candidate to establish and grow their own portfolio and develop centres of excellence in his/her chosen field.

As the Account Director you will be required to:
? Direct a number of accounts, shape PR strategy and be responsible for the achievement of clients? objectives, within agreed timescales and budgets.
? Develop new ideas and strategies to increase project and retainer revenues.
? Actively develop new business opportunities, by contributing to lead generation activities and leading the creation of new business pitches.
? Support the regional director in achieving agreed financial targets for the Reading business unit.
? Counsel, mentor, motivate, support and retain junior staff in the team. Run appraisals, overseeing training and development programmes.

In return you will receive a salary package of £35,000-£40,000 per annum (depending on experience), Company car scheme, Pension : immediate access to contribute personally and company contributions after six months from date of joining, Optional healthcare : on date of joining, 21 days holiday (pro rata), plus birthday and days between Christmas and New Year, plus one extra day for each year worked up to a maximum of five days, All company bonuses, including a profit share scheme
