Are you an experienced research scientist ready to further develop your management career in a cell-based assay development team?

This Cambridge-based biopharmaceutical company is seeking a talented Senior Research Scientist to plan and co-ordinate the development and execution of cell-based assays for its products. In this role you will manage a small team and ensure that all assays are carried out in a timely and consistent manner in line with GMP and regulatory requirements.

You will have a BSc in a Biological Sciences subject; a PhD would be desirable. You must have previous people management experience in a similar environment, together with an advanced understanding of the principles of protein purification and protein analysis. Some experience in a GMP manufacturing or pilot plant facility would be desirable. On a personal level, you are an excellent communicator, passionate about your science and committed to helping develop your team members.
