Senior Research Manager Required for World Leading Medical Communications Agency : Based North West England
Our client is a world-leading, full-service medical communications agency based in North West England. Our client works with Global Pharmaceutical and Healthcare organisations implementing brand strategy and creative market access solutions across the board.
Main role responsibilities: ? Apply strong academic and commercial experience to varied project needs ? Demonstrate industrial sector experience that is relevant to defining target project outcomes ? Build and sustain business relationships with Health Economics & Pricing groups in global HQ and local affiliate client companies. ? Deliver client-satisfying market access strategies on time and on budget. The role is expected to have three key elements, but remains flexible around the proportion of time dedicated to each. The three elements include:
1. Project delivery ? Client liaison, strategic input and provision of added value ? Understand, credibly challenge and further develop client briefs and effectively communicate briefs to the team ? Project management including: overall budget and financial management of projects and resource management within the project team ? Responsibility for ensuring high quality outputs, to brief and within agreed budget 2. Business development ? Contribute to the development of proposals and pitches ? Identify new opportunities with both new and existing clients 3. Line Management 4. Line Management Responsibility for line management of a number of Research Associates and Research Managers. Key Requirements: ? Can demonstrate strategic and analytical thinking ? Has an excellent understanding of market and industry awareness from both an international and domestic perspective ? Can demonstrate experience of: o Reviewing the work of others and providing constructive feedback o Effective project management ? Relevant agency experience, or previous work experience in a HTA group, in academia, NHS, other healthcare service provider or industry ? Demonstrates strong capability for financial management, producing project specifications, undertaking financial tracking and reconciliations, therefore ensuring project forecasts are met. Minimum Educational requirements: Graduate Science Degree. PhD preferred MBA would be desirable
