It is now seeking a talented Research Scientist to be responsible for purifying antibodies and other proteins, together with the design, execution, recording and interpretation of project-related experiments. You must also be able to contribute to the group?s projects through your detailed understanding of the scientific basis and regulatory aspects of downstream processing and scale-up. You enjoy keeping up to date with literature and new developments, and training other team members in new skills as required.

With an understanding of the principles of protein purification and protein analysis, you must also be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience in small scale purifications and formulation. You must have previously worked in a laboratory environment, and experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry would be an advantage. You must have a first degree in a life sciences subject, and a PhD would be preferred.
