This company is now looking for a Research Assistant to join an interactive team to create cell lines expressing recombinant antibodies. Your responsibilities will cover the full extent of cell line development projects, from vector construction to cell line creation and characterisation, using a variety of molecular biology and cell culture techniques.

You must have experience of either molecular biology, particularly DNA cloning or cell culture. Appropriate training will be given. Ideally you will have a Life Sciences degree and some laboratory based experience; any experience in PCR, southern and/or western blots will be an advantage. You are enthusiastic, have good interpersonal skills and want to develop your career in science. You must have a methodical approach to detail and recording your results. You are comfortable working on your own initiative as well as being part of a team.
