A rapidly expanding and busy award winning Medical Education Agency based in Oxfordshire has the opportunity for a Client Services Director to join their international enterprise. Established for over 20 years, the company continue to successfully deliver medical communications programmes for large multinational pharmaceutical companies on a domestic and global basis.

As a Client Services Director you will be responsible for managing the Accounts team with around 6 people reporting directly to you. You will also be responsible for setting the commercial direction for the agency and providing strategic input into the future of the business. Developing new and existing business is also an integral part of the role. In addition you will also be involved in the mentoring of junior staff members and ensure high levels of client service are maintained throughout the team.

Suitable candidates for the Client Services Director position will possess an excellent scientific background ideally educated to PhD level, although candidates with excellent life science degrees are also welcome to apply. At least 8 years experience gained within a Medical Communications Agency or Pharmaceutical environment is essential. Knowledge of the drug discovery process and the communication plans that support the product life cycle would be a distinct advantage.
