Laboratory Technician/Research Assistant wanted for revolutionary Medical Diagnostics company. Salary depending on experience : Based Cambridge

Our client is a new and revolutionary medical diagnostics company. They have created revolutionary diagnostic equipment in the Autoimmune area. These will be joined during the next twelve months by their first multiplexed cancer assay and their first Immunomics profiling assay for the diagnosis of coronary artery disease.

Our client is currently seeking Technician / Research Assistant to support their multi-disciplinary Kit Manufacturing team and to assist in the day-to-day running of our laboratories.

Duties will include following SOPs for particle release, surface and antigen coating, quality testing, preparation of buffers and solutions, bottling and labelling reagents, record keeping, ordering and stock control.

Previous hands on lab experience with an attention to details is required. Working experience in a diagnostics, immunology, or proteomics focused company, familiarity of assay development and screening formats, use of robotics and analysis would be an advantage, but full training will be provided. Ideal candidates will also have experience in handling serum samples.

Applicants must be enthusiastic, flexible, self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision. The salary range would be £18K to £23K based on experience.
