Laboratory Support Assistant : Nr. Saffron Walden/Cambridge : 1 year contract : excellent salary and benefits

Are you a hard worker with experience in catering, cleaning or similar seeking a busy daytime job with a great team of colleagues?

This scientific company is looking for someone like you to help their scientists by ensuring that the laboratory is clean and properly prepared with supplies and equipment. You will receive all the training you need so that you can prepare solutions and other materials required for experiments, order consumables and use and maintain various pieces of laboratory equipment.

You don?t need any scientific experience for this role, but you must be able to demonstrate the ability to follow simple instructions similar to a recipe, and to understand hygiene/health & safety regulations. This is a physical role, and you?ll be on your feet for most of the day; the job involves some moving of large trolleys either on your own or as part of a team. You must have legible handwriting and good attention to detail, as you will be keeping records as part of the role. You must be helpful and approachable, enjoy providing a service to other people, and working as part of a supportive team.
