Associate Director, European Clinical Training : Cambridge : excellent remuneration and benefits package

Due to the strong growth of its business and clinical population in Europe, this global CRO is now looking to appoint an Associate Director, European Clinical Training who will be responsible for the systems and clinical training as well as the Clinical Foundation Course.

This is a unique and very exciting opportunity to develop the Clinical Training platform in Europe as well as implement for the first time in the region the Clinical Foundation Course (CFC). The CFC is a compulsory 2-week training programme for any new CRA joining the Company and so far only based and available at global headquarters in the US. In this role you will manage the training of Clinical Operations staff in Europe, Israel, South Africa and Australia. As the key decision maker on the best structure for the organization, you will be expected to challenge the current model, bring in a new vision and shape the function for the future.
You will manage a team of Clinical Trainers and Training Administrators for Europe (ca 12 people). This is a very visible position with a strong career development potential.

You must have a Bachelor?s or higher graduate degree in a life science related field, licensed or certified health care training or equivalent experience. Training and/or management qualifications could be an advantage, but a thorough knowledge and understanding of clinical drug development and ICH GCP are essential. Less than 6 or 7 years in the industry, including clinical monitoring to GCP standards, is unlikely to have given you the breadth of experience required for this role. You will have effective verbal and written communication in English together with outstanding facilitation and presentation skills. You are an excellent organizer, results driven and with the ability to motivate others in a pressurized and constantly changing environment.

You must be eligible to live and work in the UK, as well as be able to travel freely throughout Europe and the US to be considered for this role.
