Account Executive : Medical Communications - Oxford

An ambitious Account Executive is required to join a specialist independent agency based in Central Oxford. This small and friendly company is enjoying steady growth and this poses to be an excellent opportunity for the right candidate. The agency specialise in medical education for international clients and work across a range of projects including advisory board meetings, satellite symposia, stand-alone meetings, educational materials and new media (e.g. slides on CD). You will be involved in managing several integral accounts for well established and loyal clients, working on the publication planning programmes, delivering publications related business eg abstracts, posters, oral presentations, primary papers and review papers.

Suitable candidates will possess outstanding communication skills gained in a Medical Education or Medical Communications Agency coupled with either a strong editorial or writing background. You will have experience of working on publication planning accounts and developing and managing meetings materials. Experience in eurology (including psychiatry), oncology and anti-infectives (HIV) would also be highly desirable
