A leading and revolutionary Medical Communications Company based in the South East is looking for a strategic thinking Account Director to join their team, as a result of winning new International business. This is a great time for you to join the company who have recently merged with a major CRO and are growing from strength to strength.
As the Account Director you will be responsible for liaising with clients to ensure development of projects run smoothly, within time and to budget and possess the skills to appeal to a wide range of target audiences maximizing client satisfaction. You will proactively be involved in developing existing and new relationships with clients in order to attract new business and nurture existing accounts. In addition to the role you will mentor junior members of the team. For the suitable candidate this is an excellent opportunity to thrive in an exciting environment with the scope to work in a number of therapy areas.
Suitable candidates for this position will ideally have substantial Account handling experience within a Medical Communications Agency, Pharmaceutical company or CRO. You will also have a life science degree, experience of project management and team management skills. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential.
