My Client, a key provider of elderly care across the UK is looking for an experienced, multi skilled project Manager to enhance their Project Management team.
Job Purpose
The project manager will facilitate the delivery of project benefits in a controlled environment. The role of the Project Team is to provide advice, guidance, resource and consistency for project and programme management across the clients business. The team works across all of the clients businesses and deals mainly with corporate and large projects, but could be involved in any projects that are going on within the client. The projects team is a vital resource, which will play a key role in helping the client to deliver its objectives.
Professionl/Technical Responsibilities
1. Follow standard team processes to organise your work so that service standards are met or exceeded.
2. Attend regular team meetings with your colleagues or customers to share information and learning, contribute to continually improving services and achieve consistency of delivery.
3. Investigate and seek to resolve service delivery issues and customer complaints whilst ensuring that service improvements are identified.
4. Report against key performance indicators so that you can review monthly service information with your Manager to identify improvement opportunities. Assist in the implementation of agreed improvements.
5. Maintain successful relationships with customers, colleagues and suppliers, which contribute to the achievement of team objectives and Anchor?s purpose.
6. Continuously improve your knowledge and awareness of issues relating to the services provided by your team in order to make decisions that benefit customers.
7. Assist your Manager in the recruitment, selection and induction of new team members, making sure that they quickly contribute to the effective running of the team.
Project Manager Responsibilities
1. Deliver projects in a controlled manner using Prince 2 methodology as a guiding principle.
2. Provide consultancy and support to other projects within clients business where required. This may include troubleshooting in projects, which are failing.
3. Support the Head of Projects with programme management.
4. Define and provide appropriate project management tools for all project managers to use.
