BRANCH MANAGER NOTTINGHAM 25K : 30K Main purpose of the post:
Responsible for all aspects of managing a large domiciliary care branch, with significant Local Authority contracts. Ensuring quality of service provision meets National Minimum Standards for Domiciliary care and company Care Quality procedures. Effective management of all branch staff. Delivering to targets consistent with the company Care business plan.
Summary of duties and accountabilities:
? Ensure branch provides services which meet the requirements of purchasers and regulators, at a level which meets business plan requirements. ? Promote and maintain effective working relationships with Local Authorities and other purchasers, regulators, clients and their representatives, and potential purchasers. ? Line manage branch staff :recruiting, managing performance, monitoring and supervision. This includes daily guidance and coaching as well as formal supervision and development. ? Audit and review the quality of care delivered by the branch, ensuring National Minimum Standards and AC Quality Procedures are met. ? Ensure effective investigations are undertaken in accordance with internal procedures and appropriate external requirements. ? Ensure the branch has appropriate, accurate and up to date records, maintained in line with regulatory and contractual requirements. This includes paper and systems based record keeping.
Business Skills.
? Deliver a plan for the levels of operation, growth and performance in the branch which has been agreed with the Regional Manager, and addresses the needs of the local market. ? Responsible for cost control in the branch including agency costs, office resources and staff training, making recommendations to the Regional manager in relation to pay and charge decisions. ? Work effective with the AC finance team to ensure all appropriate income for the branch is collected accurately and in a timely fashion. ? Provide information for the Regional Manager in tenders and acquisition opportunities, which include contract prices/ uplifts.
