Search Marketing Manager - London - Salary £25k - £35k depending upon experience + Permanent + benefits
My client is a well-established full service ecommerce agency in London looking for an experienced Search Marketing Manager. As a Search Marketing Manager, working within the online marketing team, you will have a good knowledge of PPC Search Engine Marketing, ideally gained in a Digital Media Agency. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and optimisation of pay-per-click campaigns for a number of clients and will work closely with the online marketing team to plan search campaigns and deliver high levels of service for these clients. You will also work with the account management team to develop and nurture relationships with clients for the day-to-day requirements of paid search campaigns
Although you will be part of a team you will be happy to independently manage paid search campaigns on a day to day basis and in some cases have an autonomous relationship with certain clients. You will most probably already work in a paid search account or campaign management capacity within a digital or media agency, although we will consider client side candidates with strong hands on experience.
You will have good presentation skills, good account management skills, good analytical skills, and should be highly numerate with excellent attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
? Working with the online marketing and account management teams you will assist in setting the paid search strategy for the client account
? Working as part of a team you will manage paid search campaigns from end to end, including briefing, research, campaign set up, optimisation, reporting and analysis
? You will provide regular and timely campaign reporting and analysis, including contact reports, search traffic analysis and ROI reporting
? Working with the online marketing and account management teams you will establish and maintain strong client relationships through proactive campaign management and regular communication and face-to-face meetings
? You will be expected to fully understand your client(s), their business, issues, opportunities and competitors.
? You should be able to generate ideas, deliver proposals and reports to the client, and be available for client requests
? Over time you will manage a portfolio of paid search campaigns/clients and actively seek to increase the service to clients and increase income generated from them.
? You will proactively manage client expectations and have the ability to keep promises (under promise, over deliver)
? You will act as an ambassador for the company, be professional and responsible
? You may also undertake additional work beyond client responsibilities as requested (new business pitches, market reviews, competitive trends, etc)
Skills and qualities required for the job
? You will have excellent knowledge of paid search marketing and will ideally be a Google Adwords professional
? You should have experience of managing campaigns on a standalone basis & being the primary contact on a substantial piece of business
? You will also have some knowledge and experience of one or more of the following disciplines: web analytics, SEO, online media, affiliate marketing, email marketing.
? You will have gained experience with dealing with clients budgets and metrics and demonstrable capability in the field of ROI
? You will have a good knowledge understanding of digital marketing and how online fits into the marketing mix
? You will be a good strategic thinker with strong communication skills and strong client management skills
? You will have good report writing, analytical and account management skills.
