Marketing Manager - Cheshire £33000 +Bens
Tourism and management agency have a vacancy for a Marketing Manager which is varied, influential and commercial.
The purpose of the role is to provide creative inspiration to the agency and drive the marketing function forward in partnership with private and public sector stakeholders.
Reporting to the Operations Director you will
Establish marketing strategies to meet organisational objectives, and contribute to the success of the targets set out in the Management Plan.
Oversee all marketing staff ensuring targets are achieved, working closely with the E-Media manager and the Assistant Marketing Manager
Oversee all activities of the marketing team: manage print; achieve positive media coverage across all relevant media; all aspects of on-line activity including websites and e-communications
Evaluate customer research, market conditions and competitor data to ensure that the marketing activity is based on a Research and Evidence based approach, and that the destination is aligned with high performing destinations
Manage the Marketing Department budget and deliver all marketing activity within set budget
Managing local and regional media relations
Undertake formal procurement for projects ensuring best quality and value
Complete regular monitoring and evaluation of all activities
Contribute to the organisation?s corporate objectives, and the Operations Mangers Group
Management and procurement of creative agencies
You will ideally have a leisure/retail background and have marketing experience accross the mix.
