Assistant Product Manager : £28k : 32k - Hampshire
Our client requires an assistant product manager to join their team based in Hampshire
This team that is responsible for the strategy, management, communications and commercial performance of their online directory and search marketing products.
Their internet products are sold predominantly to SMEs/SOHOs via a 550 strong UK wide sales force.
As the Assistant Product Manager, your role will to:
Report to the Internet Product Manager in a team responsible for the product development and marketing of our client and their internet advertising products for SMEs.
Provide ongoing support for the development, pricing, communication and sale of their online products.
Manage smaller developments, design changes and write specifications for functionality improvements to their flagship site and hosted partner implementations.
Support the planning and roll out stages of new channels and products for the online classified advertising sector.
As the Assistant Product Manager you will need to:
? Have an excellent understanding of our clients site and its functionality and be able to respond to user and sales queries regarding the site accordingly.
? Monitor competitor product and website functionality developments.
? Work closely with the Product Manager to identify functionality improvements/product opportunities.
? Help scope business requirements and assist in developing project documentation/specifications.
? Work with external suppliers and content providers and partners.
? Work with the partner team to understand their requirements and the business opportunities for our client as a content supplier to other sites/distribution channels.
? Understand our clients sales processes and work with the communications team help manage new product launches internally and externally.
To be considered for this post all applicants must have:
? 2-3 years PQE
? CIM/IDM Marketing qualification or similar
? Excellent Maths & English
? Experience of working on complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
? Good working knowledge of website development and typical usage reporting measures and tools.
? Understanding of advertising products, models and performance measurement.
? Experience within an online business would be an advantage.
? A Degree : ideally Marketing, Business, Economics, Computing, ecommerce
