The Company
This organisation specialise in the design and manufacture of sensing devices. Their Leicester facility employs over 300 people and they are part of a larger American corporation. In order to support an increasing demand for their products the need to recruit production operatives has arisen. The Role
·Potting is a large part of the day for operators. Using a very fine needle, tiny modules are filled with potting compound. This then goes into an oven to cure at a set temperature for a number of hours. This is usually done as a test at interview stage.
·Other processes such as Laser Marking are also done throughout the day - this is a unique part identification process and requires excellent attention to detail and dexterity.
·Candidates will learn basic mechanical aptitude on an electronic welding system that can occasionally require lifting duties.
·Soldering is carried out on a minimal basis, and candidates are still required to complete and pass the soldering course.

The Candidate
Ideally the candidate will have experience in an Electronics/Manufacturing environment. Most importantly the individual will be a good team player who has a positive attitude and willing to learn.
