Process Engineer/Manager

This is an excellent opportunity to join the east midlands most successful manufacturer of mild steel fabrications. Due to an increase in their workload they need to recruit a process engineer to improve their production efficiencies.

This organisation have seen a shift in demand for the type of goods they produce. They are starting to produce their products in high volumes and move away from low volume bespoke products. To ensure this transition is seamless the need to overhaul the current manufacturing processes is evident.

The key requirements for this position are a good understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering principles. You will move towards JIT production, remove bottle necks from the production process and ensure that all resources are used as efficiently as possible.. Previous experience in the sheet metal industry and a knowledge of welding processes is desirable.
