MECHANICAL ENGINEER : Junior (Tubes)

To be trained in all aspects of Mechanical Design within the Tube Division. Learning the use of UGS Ideas and CAD system, SWAN and other bespoke systems, enabling design and change process to be completed, from conceptual 3D Modelling to production of manufacturing data packs.

Main Duties:
? To learn the systems and software utilised and to provide the required documentation by the Tubes Division.
? To work with other engineers and achieve satisfactory designs using software design tools available and to produce 3D models and drawings as required. Support other engineers in creating drawings from conceptual models.
? To create SWAN parts and Bills of Materials. To gain awareness of relevant methodologies, technologies, processes and quality techniques within the Tubes Division.
? Attend programme and design review meetings and to support the Equipment division when required.

Qualifications & Experience:
? HNC/HND/Degree Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent
? Prior use of a CAD package, during College/University course (Desirable)
