Lean Manufacturing Consultant
up to 6 months contract
La Rochelle
£450 - £650 per day (dependent on experience)
Expenses paid on top of the daily rate
The contract is likely to start in September but there will be a 2 day meeting in mid to late July that the successful candidate will be asked to attend if available

My client is an international Lean Manufacturing consultancy, due to expansion they have a need for a French / English speaking lean specialist in La Rochelle.

PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE LANGUAGE SKILLS YOU ARE WASTING YOUR TIME BY APPLYING FOR THIS ROLE

Ideally the client is looking for someone living in France but will equally consider anyone from the EU who has both language and work skills

The expectation is that you will be skilled in lean implementation (preferably certified) in both manufacturing and administration / office / transactional, specifically VSM, kanban, SMED, and TPM kaizen events
Six Sigma certification beneficial but not mandatory
You will have worked in a production line / manufacturing environment : not necessarily automotive.
Direct experience of Toyota Production System, Unipart way, Danaher Business System or similar company culture desirable
Initial client based in La Rochelle. French domicile preferred but will consider from anywhere in EU as long as the candidate has the requisite skills
For client billable work the daily rate will be in the range £450-£650 per day
Expenses will be reimbursed against receipts in addition to the daily rate
½ daily rate will be paid for any non implementation business development work that is delivered.
