We are a leading business process services company, servicing resellers and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in regions around the world. We provide outsourcing services in IT distribution, contract assembly, logistics management and business process outsourcing.

We are currently looking to recruit a Material Controller/ Buyer. The successful candidates duties will be as follow
* To liaise with UK & Overseas Suppliers particularly in Far East and ensure parts are here in good time.
* Negotiate & purchase some parts
* Review some suppliers performance and agree improvements or source new supply(dependent on Customer specifications)
* Invoice approval & reconciliation. Review terms etc.
* Monitoring stock levels for call off/re-order.

Key Skills Required:
* Experience of obtaining Materials from Europe and Far East.
* Mandarin language ability an advantage but not essential.* Able to work in a very busy environment and be confident and assertive with suppliers.
* Some experience with MRP system/excel etc. (an added advantage will be MFG Pro knowledge)
* Buying & Negotiation experience/skills
* Membership of CIPS or similar level an advantage but not essential(may give assistance with obtaining)

Salary £20,000 per annum
Hours 37.5 hrs day shift ,Monday-Friday but 7.00am/7.30am start time.
