The location of the role will be matched to the region of the new consultant but some national travel is to be expected
Our client industry is Lean Manufacturing and Business Improvement based on its experience of implementing best practice productivity interventions.
They have taken the techniques from the manufacturing industry and applied them to the service industry and public sector. (these include NHS, Hospital Trusts, Councils and the like) Lean
Your job will be to deliver consultancy and training in the area of Business Process Improvement (BPI) to a range of clients in the public sector (local government and hospitals) and the manufacturing sectors
This individual will have responsibility for the following key areas:
?Develop strategies with organisations to improve agreed KPI
?Support client company personnel in the application of the productivity tools and techniques
?Contribute in the production of new products and training material
?Compile management reports on progress
?Customer Relationship management
?Project Management
?Impact Assessment and benefits realisation
?Support delivery of NVQ in all sectors which may include but not limited to Manufacturing, Fire & Rescue, Local Government, Police, NHS.
The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:
?Thorough understanding of Productivity Improvement techniques
?Highly competent in data analysis
?Be a proven problem solver and able to use problem solving techniques
?Understanding of work measurement techniques
?Project/programme management experience
?Strong customer management skills
The Consultant is expected to be professional at all times and maintain regular contact with:
?All client organisations
?Any relevant partner or associate organisations
?Company quality office to advise on amendments and improvements
Qualifications
?Educated to degree level with excellent numeracy skills
?Prince II experience an advantage
Ideal Experience
?Leading team activities and facilitating group sessions
?Experience of further education colleges and LSC funding regimes
?Experience in project/programme management
?Experience of leading change within an organisation
