Our client a forward thinking and innovative company specialising in in -store design and manufacturing are looking to recruit an experienced Supervisor to oversee the planning of the Assembly & Production Line. You will have previous Supervisory experience ideally within a manufacturing or POS environment coupled with the ability to make key decisions on quality and production without guidance.

Key duties will include issuing clear instructions to assembly teams in order to ensure that projects achieve deadlines and all quality standards are met. You will follow instruction from the head of assembly to ensure that all deadlines and targets are met, worked is delegated accordingly to the teams ensuring productivity levels are monitored and targets achieved.

An integral part of the role will be to liaise with other Supervisors and attend regular meetings that are project specific and to ensure that all colleagues, clients and suppliers are kept informed of any relevant details and progress key to their projects. An awareness of Health & Safety is essential as you will be directly accountable for making sure all shop floor machinery is used in accordance to guidelines and any non compliance issues reported.

You will work under C.O.S.H.H guidelines to meet production requirements. We are ideally looking for a motivated, enthusiastic individual with strong people management skills who can offer a hands on approach to the team. You will be overseeing 3 - 4 Cell Leaders and employees within the Cell Leaders areas as well as running your own jobs.

A high level of communication is essential as you will be dealing with all external clients/suppliers along with reporting key issues and project information to Senior Management. You will be responsible for checking components and understanding timing s for projects ensuring that jobs are completed to the appropriate timescales. An individual with the ability to monitor their individual performance against key objectives and targets is required.

Hours of work are 40 hrs per week. Candidates will need to be flexible as this role will require cover on a rotating shift pattern comprising of early and late shifts. The core hours will be 6:00 - 2:00, 8:00 - 4:30 and 2:00 - 10:00. There is possibility to earn time and a half during overtime.
