Title: Multi Skilled Building Services Technician (Refrigeration) M4

Location: M4 South/ Southampton

Salary: £25,000

You will carry out planned preventative maintenance and repair to various site building services in line with the contract documentation. Professionally service air conditioning units, general maintenance to HVAC equipment and provide a response to general maintenance requests.

Principle Accountabilities:
· To carry out planned preventative/reactive maintenance on all associated equipment
· Operate and monitor all plant and equipment safely
· Maintain up to date records of work carried out on the plant and equipment within the site manuals and complete site log books
· To carry out any reasonable reactive requests of the client including M&E, HVAC and general maintenance
· To comply with the client and safety rules and to maintain a high standard of discipline
· Join the on call roster as and when required. The frequency of this rota may change with reasonable notice being given to the employee.
· To submit all relevant technical and paperwork as detailed in the Engineers policies and procedures pack or requested by Supervisor.
· To comply with ?permit to work? systems and risk assessments and undertake as required.

Qualifications and Experience:
· Time served apprenticeship or qualification to ONC level in HVAC discipline
· City & Guilds 6087 Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Level 2 & 3
· City & Guilds 2078 Safe Handling of Refrigerants
· Experience of Building Services plant maintenance
· Experience in maintaining HVAC equipment.
· Safety trained and orientated, with practical knowledge
· Good diagnostic skills
· Computer literate
· Knowledge and experience of ?Permit to Work? systems (desirable)
· Knowledge of building fabric repairs (desirable)
· First Aid trained (desirable)
