Our client is a leading international catering and facilities management provider providing multi-service capability to major companies and organizations operating in remote sites, challenging geographical locations, defence and on-off shore energy environments.

They are currently seeking a Deputy General Manager for their Maintenance Division.

Reporting into the General Manager the successful candidate will have the responsibility of the day to day running of the Maintenance Division which services the maintenance needs of our clients facilities which are hotels, residential compounds, remote labour camps, on and off shore rigs.

Knowledge and Skills:
The successful candidate is likely to have site services experience working in an engineering or maintenance department involving a diverse range of plant with experience of supervising or managing a maintenance team.
Within your career you should have gained experience with electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and hydraulic maintenance and repair of all or in part.
Experience of working in the Gulf, in arduous or remote environments is desirable as is knowledge and experience of working on water treatment plants.

You will need to be PC / IT literate in Ms Office/Word/Excel/Ms Project or similar and be systems orientated with some cost and budgetary experience.

You should be fluent in written and spoken English, ideally speak some Arabic and possess a current Drivers Licence.

You will be resourceful with a flexible outlook, have the ability to multi-task in order to handle competing priorities and be able to fit in to an international dynamic and multi-cultural environment.

This is an outstanding challenge for an accomplished Site Services Maintenance Manager looking for something different. Whilst the contract is open ended our client is seeking a minimum of 12 months commitment.

The basic salary is paid in SAR and is tax free for an Ex-Patriate employee. In addition there is a performance related bonus payable each year which is also paid in SAR and tax free for an Ex-Patriate employee. A car is provided and also accommodation and medical insurance. If Single status, laundry, leisure facilities, and meals are provided free.

Employees receive one months holiday per year and will receive one free flight back to their country of origin. Mobilization and De-Mobilization flights are also paid for by our client.
