The Role:

Working at a local based trailer rental branch, the Workshop Technician will maintain and repair to a measured quality standard, the trailers of the rental fleet and customers own trailers.

The Workshop Technician will maintain trailers to a high standard within company guidelines and to conform to all current legislation, highlighting any trailers which do not comply with company specifications and/or current legislation.

They will project a high customer service and corporate image at all times.

A willingness to work flexible hours is essential as the role will involve possible shift working, including weekends.

Knowledge and Skills:

Candidates should be qualified vehicle technicians, with an indentured apprenticeship or similar qualification.

A full driving licence is essential. The successful candidate will have good people skills and be able to demonstrate their ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

A willingness to work flexible hours is essential as the role will involve possible shift working, including weekends

The standard working week is 45 hours per week with some weekend working required.

The basic salary will be in a range of £18 : 20k depending upon the successful candidate?s skill set and experience. In addition to earning overtime, a bonus scheme is currently being devised.
