Our Client is a multi- national food logistics and facilities provider providing food logistics, catering, fm and retail services across The Middle East, Africa and Near Asia.

Our client is now seeking a Senior Fuel Inventory Controller for their Site Services Division to be based in Dubai.

The role will encompass the development and implementation of best practice stock management and inventory control processes together with achieving and maintaining customer product availability ensuring depot stock holding is kept within target and that department objectives are met.

The key tasks will include the development and implementation of the fuel inventory control policy, managing the performance indicators relating to stock management and inventory control and identifying / recommending improvements for the buying and inventory control processes between the business and suppliers.

Other responsibilities include ensuring that depot stock reports for the operations department are reported to the management team, producing and monitoring key performance indicators, overseeing warehouse stock takes, ensuring all procedures and policies are maintained and that administration and documentation in relation to fuel stock management at depot level is processed effectively and accurately.

Knowledge and Skills:

To be successful in this role a background with a military organisation is highly desirable along with previous experience in a senior inventory management role within the logistics sector. Your strong numerical and analytical skills combined with excellent oral and written communication skills are also essential to secure this role.

You should possess excellent communication skills in English and ideally one other language and be able to adapt to rapid changes in a positive manner, work to tight deadlines and pay attention to the detail.

Superb inter-personal skills and instant credibility are essential as you will be inter-facing with a number of people from different backgrounds, nationalities and religions.

Finally you should possess a Drivers Licence and be PC / IT literate, particularly in Excel and spreadsheets.

This is an outstanding challenge for an accomplished fuel inventory controller looking for something different.

The basic salary is paid in AED and is tax free for an Ex-Patriate employee. In addition there is an annual profit sharing bonus payable which is also paid in AED and tax free for an Ex-Patriate employee.

The holiday entitlement is 5 weeks plus public holidays. Ex-Patriate employees will also receive 1 paid return economy flight per year and Mobilization and De-Mobilization flights are also paid for by our client.
