PROGRESS CHASER / PRODUCTION SCHEDULER / LOGISTICS CONTROLLER
SALARY:TO 25K PER ANNUM + BENEFITS
HOURS: 37 HOUR WEEK DAYS

A fantastic oportunity for a Logistics Controller has arisen for a leading engineering company based in Leicester

The primary purpose of the role will be to liaise with sales, manufacturing cells, management and other personnel.
You will be responsible for establishing and tracking delivery schedules and promises. You will also co-ordinate activities to ensure that customer service and on time delivery targets are achieved. You will be the primary customer contact for delivery outbound.

· To process, action and monitor customer enquiries. To identify the manufacturing source, check WIP and stock levels to ensure company objectives are met.

· To process customer orders and schedules in accordance with the compannies Lead-time report, quality control procedures and ensure that customer quality requirements are met. To action customer complaints and liaise with the quality department to complete CAR.

· To prepare and update delivery and lead-time tabulations and return to customer. To ensure any problem areas are highlighted to the Logistics Manager. To have the necessary communication skills to handle difficult customer progress calls.
