Logistics Manager / Supply Chain Manager / Warehouse Manager - full time position
Located in Dubai
TAX FREE salary of £28k - £38k (equates to a UK TAX PAID salary of £40k - £58k

The purpose of this role is to oversee, organize, plan, direct and control all operations related functions as per company policies and procedures. Provide operational support on external projects.

Principal Accountabilities

Internal
?Demonstrate strong organizational and planning skills, be service-oriented and self-motivated
?Direct accountability for the service performance and operational cost against defined standards and targets
?Defining solutions to reverse identified under-performance against service and cost standards and targets within operations.
?Ensure pick-up, delivery and shipment processing services are executed in line with service, quality and cost performance standards and targets
?Ensure implementations of and compliance to company processes, policies, procedures and any local external regulatory requirements that relate to the operational services provided
?Maintaining optimal operational performance within warehouse including staffing levels, equipment, supplies availability and functionality
?Planning and projecting infrastructure investments to sustain performance and quality levels
?Manage and support business acquisition and customer relationship management from the operations perspective for defined customers, both directly with customers through all physical channels and in conjunction with appropriate sales management
?Ensure the effective implementation and deployment of assigned projects, programmes and initiatives and the realization of agreed business benefits
?Managing and forecasting against budgeted expenditures while maintaining service level improvement against previous trends.
?Ensure that the team is provided with clear direction and performance standards and is staffed, trained and motivated to meet set targets.
?Responsible for compliance to company security policies and procedures within the department.
External
?Implementation of warehouse and operational processes in accordance with both Commercial Agreement with the Client, and company best practise.
?Support major projects and programmes scheduled and ensure that agreed local personnel and resources are available for timely completion
?Addressing customer service and operational issues, primarily driven by Operations performance.
?Organize and structure client interviews and presentations to obtain facts and generate ideas for the subject of study
?Regular liaison with contacts and key decision-makers
?Define and develop policies, procedures and working practices in line with the client?s strategy that allow excellent customer service to be delivered to end users.
?Offer guidance on business processes, and implementation of such processes, supplying details of relevant and suitable partners if applicable
?Oversee the functionality of the environment by assisting in the creation of robust measurements (KPI?s) allowing monitoring and tracking of performance
?Lead or support the customers? management and warehouse staff in order to develop their skills as managers and leaders
?Manage third party contractors according to agreements
?Build long term relationships with clients through efficiency, knowledge and professionalism adding growth and increased worth. Bring business development value through effective networking within the industry
?Communicate and work effectively within Workz values, policies and strategies.
?Provide guidance and coaching to the team

Established in 1998 and located in the Dubai Airport Free Zone, our client positions itself in the wireless arena working with network operators, equipment manufacturers, telecom retailers and after market service providers. Over the years they have established themselves as a leading provider of products and services, supplying to the majority of network operators in the Middle East and Africa region.

The ideal candidate will have an excellent understanding of warehousing, logistics and supply chain gained over at least 3-5 years, you will speak English fluently and if you have other languages that is advantageous

for the purposes of this advert the tax free salary has been grossed up to c£58k.
