Logistics Manager - Sheffield, South Yorkshire - Up to £25k
Establsihed client within the Sheffield area is currently expanding and looking to recruit an experienced Logistics Manager to join their team.
Key responsibilities:
Managing logistics department and staff to a high level
Ensure order requirements are planned out and given to the Logistics Administrators in good time to allow for delivery
Monitor effectiveness of suppliers to ensure materials are of sufficient quantity and quality
Transport deliveries to designated drop off areas and maintain records of successful and collections.
Resources are managed in a cost effective manner and systems/procedures are continually evaluated to ensure improvements are made.
Support the group with any reasonable manual activities as deemed appropriate.
The successful candidate should possess the following:
Previous management experience within a similar role
Excellent communicator at all levels
Able to deal with all administration and paperwork to acceptable level
Team Player
